The kitchen pantry is undergoing a design revolution. Gone are the days when these spaces just held cans and flour. New builds & remodels now boast “butler’s pantries” that serve not only as storage areas for extra cookware, microwaves and minor appliances, but sometimes even food prep spaces.
But even if you don’t have a big “second kitchen” type of pantry, you can still get creative to declutter kitchen counters and make all your pantry staples accessible.
Below are some of our favorite pantry storage systems to include in a redo.

Counter Space
As pantries expand beyond a closet with a few shelves, we’ve been including a lot more countertops in our pantry storage systems.
We love this idea because:
• It creates extra prep space that is out of sight of guests for entertaining
• It makes unloading grocery bags filled with pantry items easier
• It’s a great spot to plug in additional crockpots and air fryers for holidays meals or potlucks
We carry a butcher block that is the perfect finishing touch to a pantry countertop.
Scoop Drawers & Wire Baskets
Do you find yourself buying multiples of the same item because they get lost in the black hole at the back of the pantry? That’s why we love scoop drawers!
Scoop drawers make it easy to see what is in the drawer and allow you to make good use of the entire shelf. No cans and other ingredients lost in the back of the pantry!
Our wire baskets offer similar benefit, but are particularly suited to chip bags, fruit bags and other items that don’t sit neatly on shelves.

Scoop drawers & wire baskets help maximize pantry shelf space.
Wine & Spice Racks

Wine connoisseurs have several options when it comes to adding wine storage to their pantry. We build both wine cubbies for individual bottles and x-style wine racks.

We also love our metal pull-out wine and spice racks! These drawer-style racks make it easy to view what bottles or spices you have. With these racks you no longer have to worry about pulling out every bottle to get to one in the back or re-buying spices that you already have because you can’t see them.
Vertical Dividers for Pans & Other Custom Options

Pantry storage systems that are “one-side-fits-all” don’t allow you to have shelving installed that correlates exactly to the cookware and other items that you want to store in your pantry.
This usually leads to wasted space, or items that are challenging to access (and thus, never used!)
Whether it’s vertical dividers for baking pans or installing deeper shelves for larger items like dehydrators or pizza ovens, our pantry systems are custom designed to fit your lifestyle and preferences.
