Our Story
Mountain Sky Closets & Garages was founded here in Steamboat Springs by Todd Krentz in 2005. While living downtown with his wife, Jenny, and their two children—and enjoying Steamboat’s active outdoor lifestyle—Todd quickly realized the need for space-saving storage solutions tailored to mountain living.
In the last two decades, Mountain Sky Closets & Garages has grown beyond a family business and has become the leader in organizational cabinetry in Routt county. In 2017 the business expanded to include epoxy garage floor coating in addition to closet and garage systems.
What started as a man with a plan and a van has expanded into a close-knit team of locals who value craftsmanship, communication, and a healthy working culture. We strive to exceed our clients’ expectations with quality-crafted organization systems that simplify daily life.
